FAQ / Procedure

Following you find some information on the procedure and also answers to frequently asked questiones.  

Booking / Preliminary Conversation

For the fact that you visit my English pages I may expect that you are not located anywhere near Hanover? So that - unfortunately - makes it impossible to have a personal preliminary meeting. Nevertheless if you decide to book me as a DJ for your event we will talk about every detail in a way that is convenient for you, I guess that will be by e-mail. You can set a guideline or even leave the whole eventmanagement up to me.

Contract / Backup

After placing a booking you will receive a written contract with all the details. For you this means you have a binding confirmation. Unfortunately I often hear about some fellows who short timed cancel their engagement or in worst case don't show up. Be sure this will not happen with me, even in case of illness I have several DJ colleagues as backup so you never have to worry about entertainment. 

Set Up*, Safety

For setting up the equipment I need about 30 minutes. Usually I arrive at the location one hour in advance. For working and equipment I need an area of at least 2 x 3,5 m. Usually I previsit the place of your event in order to avoid problems. The set up follows all known safety instructions, meaning you wont find loose cables on the ground or tapestripped equiment or other funny stuff like that. *only valid for events up to 120 guests in "regular" locations, for bigger events or special locations more time and area will be needed

Procedure

The proceeding of any event is set by the host. At weddings I usually start with Easy Listening until the dance is opened. After that time the party may start and it won't stop until you tell me so. If you want to party all night long - I will stay all night long.

GEMA

The host is in charge of paying GEMA. Though at some locations the fee for GEMA is included. Please ask your contact at your event location. If you're located abroad you can also name your contact to me and I will take care of everything.
